Adult literacy is one area that has been AEC’s target since its establishment in 1991 by providing the skills in reading, writing, and numeracy. In September 2005 AEC established the AEC Community College to put additionally emphasis on the empowerment of young people and adults by providing functional learning opportunities in different fields.The community college puts all efforts to provide affordable, structured, non formal and flexible arranged courses to meet the student’s personal preferences (e.g. working adults) and professional/business demands.
